Lots to Choose From for a Branson New Year’s Eve Getaway

Karla and I did it once. We look forward to doing it again. You could do it, too ... this Friday night.

It's been several years ago that we rang in the new year in the Live Music Capital of the World, Branson, Missouri (I believe we rang in 2017).

At the time, there were maybe a handful of choices when it came to New Year's Eve shows.

As the world prepares to ring in 2022, the Branson Tri-Lakes News reports that Branson NYE revelers have no less than a dozen different options when it comes to entertainment venues to go to say goodbye to 2021.

If you want to sneak out of town and head for Branson for the weekend, here's an alphabetical listing of where the action will be:

Americana Theater - an All-Star Show, featuring Doug Gabriel, comedian Terry Sanders and the cast of Raiding the Country Vault.

Branson Famous Theater - Magic by Reza Edge of Illusion

Branson Star Theater - Music by Nashville Roadhouse Live and The South Side Johnny Band from St. Louis.

Clay Cooper Theater - Starring Clay Cooper's Country Express and The Haygoods.

Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater - featuring Legend's in Concert and the a capella group SIX.

Grand Country Music Hall - The Grand Jubilee New Year's Eve Show, featuring the group New South.

Hamner's Variety Theater - a special edition of the Hamners' Unbelievable Variety Show.

Hughes Brothers Theater - If all the Hughes kids, grandkids, uncles, aunts and cousins show up, there will barely be room for any fans.

King's Castle Theater - It's their Anthems of Rock show, billed as the Biggest Rock Party in Branson.

The Majestic Theater - a cabaret style show called La Rouge at The Ruby Room.

The Pierce Arrow Theater - this is the one we attended five years ago, back when Philadelphia's own Travis Spratt was a member of the group.

Showboat Branson Belle - a special New Year's Eve cruise.
