Kroc Center Hosts Big Pink Volleyball Tourney October 18

The Kroc Center in Quincy hosts a fundraiser with a different twist Saturday, October 18.

It's not just a volleyball tournament, it's a "Big Pink Volleyball" tournament. And, we mean that literally. It will be volleyball, but the ball they'll be using is four feet in diameter -- and it's pink.

The proceeds from the event go to the Blessing Foundation in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

There will be recreational and competitive divisions, with prizes to be awarded that have donated by local businesses.

Entry fee is a $10 per team member donation. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, October 15.
