Juvenile Arrested Following Quincy Hit and Run Crash

A 16 year old juvenile faces charges following a two vehicle collision at 18th and Madison shortly after 5 p-m Sunday.

Quincy Police say they arrived at the crash scene to find an overturned SUV. The driver of that vehicle was treated for minor injuries and released from Blessing Hospital. Police say the other vehicle left the scene without providing information to police or checking on the occupant of the other vehicle. The other driver—a 16 year old juvenile turned himself in at the Quincy Police Department at 8:30 p-m. The juvenile is charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident and disobeying a traffic control device.
