Missouri Castle Few Know About Could Be Your Wedding Place?
Do you daydream about being a prince or princess? Did you know there's a Missouri castle that I don't think many know about and it's apparently a potential wedding location for you where you can pretend you have a kingdom.
I stumbled across this Missouri castle almost by accident. It's called Chateau Charmant and it's located at 1700 Martins Branch Road in Fordland, Missouri. It's dreamy and is officially a wedding destination in southern Missouri according to its official website.
This unique southern Missouri castle is more than just a wedding setting. Their news page says they've held murder mysteries there, too. Just look at the top of this castle. I wonder if they allow pots of boiling oil to be transported up there to surprise guests with? Asking for a friend.
Only In Your State says this Missouri castle is a labor of love from Bob and Bonnie Palmer and their daughter Brittany who moved to Missouri from California over 20 years ago. It also says this is the largest castle ever built by such a small crew. Hard to believe that one small family managed to create all of this.
It's like a French castle, but it's really in southern Missouri. I have no idea what their availability for weddings happens to be, but I have no doubt their official website can fill you in on details.
Your kingdom awaits, your highness.
