Iowa Prison Escapee Caught in Carthage

An escaped inmate from the Iowa Department of Corrections was caught in Carthage Wednesday evening.

Carthage Police report the arrest of 49 year old Scot Flora of Keokuk on an outstanding warrant for escape from Iowa DOC.

When Flora was arrested, he was allegedly in possession of over 15 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Flora is in the Hancock County Jail pending extradition to the Iowa Department of Corrections.
