Injured Quincy Motorcylist Dies

A Quincy motorcyclist injured in a Saturday evening crash in the 16 hundred block of North 4th is dead.

Quincy Police say 53 year old Timothy Lindsey died Sunday of injuries sustained in the crash at 6:14 Saturday evening.

Officers arrived to find 53 year-old Lindsey lying on the ground unresponsive.  The preliminary investigation shows Lindsey was riding his cycle north on 4th Street when he left the roadway, ran down an embankment and struck a parked box truck.  Lindsey sustained serious injuries and was taken to Blessing Hospital by ambulance.
