The search for a 20-year-old woman missing after an Illinois River boating accident will begin anew on Tuesday.

The (Joliet) Herald-News reports searchers had returned Monday to the fast-moving river near Coal City where three other boaters were rescued Sunday. But the search was called off for the day on Monday afternoon.

A Bayliner pleasure craft got stuck Sunday afternoon in the Dresden Dam gate. The Coal City Fire Department helped one person from the boat and another pleasure craft rescued two people from the water.

The U.S. Coast Guard helped with the search for the missing woman Monday from the air while rescue boats searched the shoreline. Morris Fire Deputy Chief Bob Wills says the search will continue Tuesday morning and daily until the woman is found.
