A former Illinois state driver's license examiner convicted of sexual misconduct involving teenager girls during their road tests has been ordered to spend four years in prison.

WSIL-TV reports that 39-year-old Nathaniel Hopkins of Herrin was sentenced Thursday in Williamson County.

A jury convicted him in December of two counts each of criminal sexual abuse and official misconduct, and one count of disorderly conduct.

Authorities allege he inappropriately touched one 16-year-old girl and made inappropriate comments to another while working for the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles.

WSIL says the judge told Hopkins he appears to have a personality disorder because he fails to admit doing anything wrong.

Hopkins must register as a sex offender.
