IHOP Coming to Quincy Mall

The restaurant chain that brought you “rooty tooty fresh and fruity” is coming to Quincy.

It was officially announced Monday that the International House of Pancakes will open in December in the former TGI Friday’s location on the Quincy Mall property.

The owner of the new Quincy IHOP franchise is Larry McDonald, already owns several IHOP’s in central Illinois, including two in Springfield.

McDonald says he will start taking applications for employment November 1st, and plans on being open no later than December 11th.

The Quincy IHOP will be open 24 hours a day.
