IDOT Crew Finds Decomposing Body Along Interstate 88

Police in Aurora are investigating after a woman's decomposing body was found in the woods along Interstate 88.

City of Aurora officials say Illinois Department of Transportation mowing crews found the body Thursday afternoon along with a vehicle about 200 yards away along the same fence line.

The Kane County coroner in Geneva plans an autopsy Friday.

Aurora police, Illinois State Police, North Aurora police and the Kane County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
