Slick roadways created havoc for several motorists on Saturday.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports three crashes in northeast Missouri resulted in rollover accidents that sent folks to area hospitals:

LEWIS COUNTY CRASH INJURES CANTON MAN

(LaGrange, Mo)--A Canton man escapes serious injury after his car rolls on Highway 61 in LaGrange.  The Highway Patrol reports 84 year-old William Dorris was traveling northbound on Highway 61 at Route B at 4:40 p.m. Saturday.  Dorris lost control on the ice covered roadway.  His car crossed the median, striking a guard rail and overturning onto its top in the southbound lanes of US 61.  Dorris was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

ACCIDENT ON ICY BRIDGE INJURES TEXAS TEEN

(Monroe County, Mo)—An icy bridge in Monroe County set the stage for a one-car accident at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.  Missouri Troopers report a 20 year-old Texas man was attempting to steer around an unrelated accident on Highway 24 near Stoutsville.  His vehicle slid out of control on the bridge and struck the guardrail.  The SUV continued sliding and overturned onto its side in the roadway.  The crash resulted in moderate injuries for a passenger, 17 year-old Sydney Soberalski of Leander, Texas.  She was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

SEMI ACCIDENT INJURES TENNESSEE MAN

(Ralls County, Mo)—A semi crash at 9:40 a.m. Saturday in Ralls County is blamed on icy conditions.  The Highway Patrol says a 58 year old man from Clarksville, Tennessee lost control of his Freightliner on Highway H near Spalding.  The semi traveled off the roadway and overturned onto the passenger side.  The driver escaped with minor injuries and was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

CRASH RESULTS IN CHARGES FOR FOWLER MAN

(Adams County, Ill)--Adams County Deputies report a one-vehicle crash Saturday at 9:26 p.m. sends two men to the hospital.  The accident happened when 26 year-old David W. Elder of Fowler lost control of his pickup on a bridge at the intersection of Highway 96 South and North 300th.  The truck struck a guardrail and overturned. David Elder and his passenger, 49 year-old Matthew Elder of Payson suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Blessing Hospital.  Deputies charged David Elder with operating an uninsured vehicle and driving while revoked.
