Palmyra has a successful homecoming night, while Monroe City goes to 4-0;  Hannibal Pirates suffer their second loss.

The Hannibal Pirates hosted Mexico at Porter Stadium..  Hannibal struck early in the first quarter with a touchdown run by Diamond Fernando.  Mexico tied things up in the 2nd quarter.  Mexico gained momentum in the second half by capitalizing on Hannibal turnovers.  The Pirates travel to Kirksville next Friday.  Hear the game on 97.9 KICK-FM.

Palmyra 37  South Shelby 6

South Shelby scored their one touchdown early on a run by QB Dylan Threlkeld.  Palmyra's Jacob Kroeger and Peyton Plunkett each scored 2 TD's.  The Panthers are 3-1 on the season.  They are at Clark Co. next Fri. Catch all the Palmyra action on our sister station Y-101.
