In observance of Heart Month, Hannibal Regional Hospital will host a Heart Health Fair Friday, February 27.

The fair, sponsored by Hannibal Regional Healthcare Systems and the Hannibal Clinic, runs from 8 a.m. till noon in the Mall in the main hospital entrance. There will be free screenings available, checking for total cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood glucose. There will also be screenings for body mass index, leg circulation and stroke risk.

If you would like to take advantage of the free screenings, you need to call to reserve a spot on the schedule. That number is 573-406-1639.

Along with the screenings, there will be a number of booths with health information available, along with drawings for prizes and healthy cooking demonstrations.
