A court hearing has been continued to April 8 in the felony case against a former Pike County, Missouri sheriff candidate.
Grover Lynn Turner Junior of Louisiana is accused of seven counts of assault and one count of property damage. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of making a false report.

Turner allegedly caused more than 67 hundred dollars in damage using his pickup truck to ram another vehicle. The incident allegedly took place on Route UU early the morning of July 29 of 2012. There were no injuries.

Turner was a candidate for Pike County sheriff in 2012, but lost the November election. The case has been moved to Montgomery County on a change of venue.
