Healthcare Worker is Fifth Marion County COVID-19 Case

A healthcare worker has been identified as the fifth positive COVID-19 case in Marion County.

The Marion County Health Department announced Tuesday the latest case is a female in the 20 to 30 year age range and is quarantined at home.

Officials with Hannibal Regional report this individual is a team member at Hannibal Regional.

Both the health department and Hannibal Regional are currently conducting contact tracing.

Healthcare officials note this individual had interaction with a very limited number of patients as well as other team members.

Also, she reportedly took all precautions when interacting with patients and did not come to work after becoming ill.
