Hannibal’s Tree of Lights Campaign Exceeded Their Goal
Hannibal’s Salvation Army Tree of Lights campaign exceeded their $104,000 goal for 2020.
Quincy area coordinator Captain Michael Sjogren says they brought in over $118,000. That money will be spent on a variety of local needs and services. Holiday assistance this year included 157 gift cards for individual Thanksgiving meals at a local restaurant and food baskets for 800 families.
Over 19-thousand toys distributed to 1600 children in conjunction with Toys for Tots of Northeast Missouri. 187 volunteers donated 396 hours of service to help make the Tree of Lights campaign possible in Hannibal.
