A search is starting for the next executive director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum.
The Mark Twain Home Foundation says Henry Sweets is stepping down from that role effective December 31st. Sweets has worked for the museum for 42 years. He will continue with the museum on a part time basis with the title of Curator. Sweets will oversee the museum’s collections and exhibits and the annual Teacher Workshop. He will also continue to edit the Fence Painter.

Members of the museum board of directors are beginning a search for a new CEO/Executive Director. The job description and qualifications can be found on line at marktwainmuseum.org.
