Hannibal Shooting Investigation Continues

Hannibal Police say the victim in a Sunday afternoon shooting in the 900 block of Center remains hospitalized in serious condition.

According to a Hannibal Police Department press release, the victim is a 37 year old Hannibal woman. Police say a search of the residence yielded a significant amount of a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Officers arrested 37 year old Clinton T. Dowell of Hannibal for drug trafficking. Dowell is held in the Marion County Jail on 100-thousand dollars cash only bond.

Hannibal Police are following up on numerous leads submitted by the public. Police say this appears to be an isolated incident.
