Hannibal Regional Hospital has announced new visitor restrictions in its effort to slow the spread of Covid 19.

The restrictions revolve around how many visitors may accompany various kinds of patients, such as women in labor, nursery patients, end of life patients, minors or surgical patients.

Visitors will be required to remain in the patient’s room for their entire visit.

No visitor will be allowed if they have symptoms of respiratory infection.

Visitors will not be allowed with a pending or positive Covid-19 test.

Also, no children under 16 will be allowed except under extraordinary circumstances.
