Salavation Army Sets Fundraising Records in Hannibal and Quincy
Fundraising records for the 2014 Christmas campaigns were set by both the Quincy Salvation Army and Hannibal Salvation Army.
Salvation Army officials Monday announced that the Quincy campaign raised over $429,000, exceeding their goal by over $36,000.
In Hannibal, the final total was a little over $95,000, which is the highest amount ever raised for a Hannibal Salvation Army Christmas campaign.
The Tree of Lights Christmas campaign is the Salvation Army’s major fund raising effort each year. The money raised helps provide Christmas assistance, along with funding programs and services that help individuals and families in northeast Missouri and greater Adams County.
