Entertainment will be provided by a few different music groups including the HLGU band, which will be performing classic songs such as La Bamba and Twist and Shout. Another band, made of students and faculty, will play selections such as Jailhouse Rock, Rock Around the Clock, Johnnie B. Goode, and I can’t Help Falling in Love with You.

“Members of choir will perform 'Silhouettes and New Girl in Town,' said Music Department Chair Dr. John Booth. “The HLGU band will take you back to your high school hoops days when the pep band played at the games. We believe that with XM and Sirius Radio available there will be many students who have connected with these songs from the ‘50s.”

It is sure to be an entertaining evening for all those attending. The event is open to the public. Cost is $5. For more information, contact Student Activities Director Richard Medina at 573.629.3006 or via email at rmedina@hlg.edu.
