Hannibal Free Clinic Recognizes Volunteer Efforts

Hannibal Free Clinic Manager Sharon Webster says Dr. Tad Edwardson wins a caring heart award along with volunteers Trina McElvain, Marci Hallows, Megan Dodd and Lindsey Pyse. The Hannibal Free Clinic provides health services to those at 150 percent of the poverty line or below who have no health insurance coverage. Since its start in 2007… volunteer physicians… nurses and support staff have provided over two thousand patients with over 15-thousand primary care visits…25-hundred free health coaching visits since 2017 and over 12-hundred free dental health visits.
Volunteers have helped patients access over 17-million dollars in medication assistance on over 21-thousand prescriptions since 2007.
