Hannibal City Council Gets Riverfront Renovation Update

Hannibal City Council members get an update on the riverfront renovation project.
Contractors indicate they have about 65 percent of the work complete and that relatively mild weather through the winter allowed them to do more than expected.  Bleigh Construction submitted a change order to remove additional concrete foundations discovered along the riverfront.  The change order also includes chain loops on light poles along the sidewalk. Director of Central Services Andy Dorian says the loops can be used to section of parts of the riverfront for special events.  Cost of the change order is over 25-thousand dollars. An earlier change order deducted nearly 23-thousand dollars from project costs.
