Hannibal BPW Leadership Change Follows Investigations

Hannibal’s Board of Public Works appoints Matt Munzlinger as interim general manager following the resignation Friday of Heath Hall.
A statement from the BPW says the board was made aware of accusations of financial concerns by an employee a month ago. The board launched an investigation and notified police. They have started a separate investigation.  Hannibal BPW is in the process of hiring an outside… independent forensic auditors to conduct an organization wide review if the board’s finances. Hannibal Board of Public Works members say any results of the investigation will be shared in accordance with employee confidentiality rules and state and federal law.
