Hannibal Arts Council Travels to Fette Orchard for Next Children’s Workshop

The Hannibal Arts Council Children’s Program Committee invites children ages 6 to 12 to attend First Friday Art Adventure 4-6 pm on May 1 where they will learn about Impressionistic style of painting and create their own landscape in an outdoor setting (plein air) using pastels with local artist Marghie Young. The May program will be held at 2200 Palmyra Road, the former Fette Orchard property.

The cost for the Art Adventure is $10 per child ($5 per child for HAC members).  Registration is required.  Sponsors to keep the workshop series accessible and affordable are the Hannibal Arts Council, George H. Riedel Private Foundation and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency. A limited number of scholarships for free registrations are available.
