The recently concluded 2019 season at the Hannibal Aquatic Center was one for the record books.

The Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department reports that attendance at the pool this season topped 21,000, an increase of over 2,200 from last year, and the highest in the last five years.

The busiest day at the pool was June 29th when 620 people visited the pool. The high temperature that day was 89 degrees.

Those attendance numbers do not include those in swim lessons or swim team practices.

The last day of the season for the aquatic center was Sunday, August 11th.

The pool will reopen in May of 2020.
