Gustafson Sentenced for Being Armed Habitual Criminal
A Quincy man is sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections Friday on charges connected with a 2016 burglary.
30 year old Benjamin Gustafson was found guilty of being an armed habitual criminal May 22nd and was sentenced Friday to 24 years in prison by Judge Michael Atterberry.
Gustafson and three others are alleged to have burglarized a Quincy home, taking firearms, ammunition, cash, a jacket, hydrocodone pills and a jewelry box.
It was noted in court Friday that this was Gustafson’s eighth felony conviction.
