Four Juveniles and One Adult Arrested in Hannibal in Connection With YouTube Pranks

Officers of the Hannibal Police Department arrested four juveniles and one adult on March 1 for property damage. The suspects were involved in alleged orchestrated events in which they removed containers of milk or other liquid from store shelves. They then purposely fell, causing the containers to break on the floor.

These events were videotaped and posted to internet sites, such as YouTube. There have been four local stores victimized and three store owners have pressed charges. The Hannibal Police would like to make all retail establishments aware of these incidents and encourage them to report such incidents.
