The drivers, a juvenile female from Quincy and 63 year old Larry Haschemeyer of Golden, were taken to Blessing Hospital with minor injuries.

The juvenile was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and distracted driving.

The crash caused a gas leak, resulting in the closing of a local business and the evacuation of a nearby residence.

Traffic was redirected around the crash site while the road was cleared and gas company personnel fixed the leak.

 

A Hannibal man suffers minor injuries in a two vehicle crash on Marion County Route MM at Hummingbird Lane at 4:25 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 18 year old Levi Blaine of Hannibal was northbound, failed to yield and struck an eastbound car, driven by 50 year old Andre Lajoy, also of Hannibal.

Lajoy was taken to Hannibal Regional for treatment.

 

A Mexico, Missouri man suffers minor injuries in a single vehicle crash on Highway 151 west of Maud in Shelby County at noon Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 42 year old Dennis Atim of Mexico was southbound when his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned.

Atim was taken to Audrain Medical Center in Mexico for treatment.
