The execution of a search warrant in Monroe County results in four arrests last week.

The Highway Patrol reports that state troopers, along with Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies and agents with the U.S. Postal Service and the East Central Drug Task Force searched a residence in Madison at 2:07 p.m. on April 4th.

The search revealed about 30 pounds of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Taken into custody were 42 year old Matthew Taylor and 24 year old Jason Derboven of Madison, along with 27 year old Loren Thompson of Martinez, California and 34 year old Christopher Owens of Walnut Creek, California.

All four are charged with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Taylor, Derboven, Martinez and Owens are in the Monroe County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges by the Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
