Firefighters Battle Residential Blaze in Ralls County Monday

Fire crews from the Hannibal Rural Fire Protection District and the New London Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Oak Hill Road in Ralls County just before 6 p.m. Monday.

It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the blaze under control.

No one was home at the time. No one was hurt.

Fire officials say the home is a total loss. The cause of the fire was not known.
