Fire Damages Two Mobile Homes South of Quincy

Fire Tuesday results in damage to two mobile homes near Quincy.

Tri Township firefighters were called to the Hultz Expressway Mobile Home Park on Illinois 57 at mid day for a mobile home fire. Fire crews had the flames down by 1 p.m. but the fire resulted in extensive gray smoke in the area. A mobile home at 4333 Michael sustained severe damage. An adjacent mobile home to the south sustained damage to the siding and windows on the north side. No word on the cause of the fire at this time. Adams County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene for traffic control.
