Esselman Waives Preliminary Hearing in Theft Case

A Liberty man accused of stealing from his employer waived his right to a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Adams County Circuit Court.

55 year old John Esselman is charged with theft over $10,000.

He is alleged to have stolen more than $40,000 over several years while serving as front office manager of Michelmann Steel Construction in Quincy.

Esselman’s arraignment is set for October 24th.
