Downtown Quincy Shooting Incident Under Investigation [update]

Quincy Police say a Burlington, Iowa woman is in custody following a shooting incident this morning in the 4th and Hampshire area.
Quincy Police say they received a 911 call at 7:50 Wednesday morning about a female shooting at a male in a vehicle in the downtown area. Police say 28 year old Ashley Wilson has been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm in connection with the incident

. The area was cordoned off briefly to recover evidence. A hand gun and shell casings were recovered. Officers say the vehicle involved is a white 2017 Yukon with California license plate 7 XQZ 717. Police do not know at this time if the driver or vehicle were hit. No other injuries or damage are reported.
