Hannibal Board of Public Works officials report power was lost about 4:30 p.m.

Crews were dispatched and discovered a tree had fallen through power lines in the area of Section Street, causing the outage.

BPW reported the tree had been removed and power had been restored about 6:25 p.m.

The outage affected the KHMO studios, knocking us off the air for about two hours Tuesday afternoon.
