The Douglas Community Services-Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) will be holding a cookout Saturday at the County Market Store in Palmyra.

The cookout will be from 11am to 2pm and will feature a menu of ribeye sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, drinks and desserts.

The Douglas Community Services-CASA program serves children in the Marion, Monroe and Ralls Counties who have been removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse.  The organization represents the best interest of the children involved in court and in other settings.
