Deliberations Underway in Quincy Murder Retrial

Deliberations resume today in the retrial of Steven Gavin of Quincy on murder charges.
Gavin is accused of first degree murder in the November 2015 shooting death of Carlous Wires Sr. in a home on North 4th in Quincy. Jurors were unable to reach a verdict in the first trial. This jury started deliberations at 12:45 Wednesday afternoon. They were dismissed for the day around 8 p-m last night.
