Deadline Extended For Parks and Rec Holiday Decorating Contest

The deadline to enter the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department’s Holiday House Decorating Contest has been extended.

Officials with Parks and Rec announced Wednesday that the deadline to enter your home or business in the contest has been extended a week to December 20th, with judging to take place on the 21st.

Prizes will be handed out in six different categories, including with Clark Griswold Award, along with Mayor’s Choice, People’s Choice, which is a Facebook vote, Most Holiday Spirit, Creative Use of Lights and the Best Commercial Building.

Any Hannibal resident who would like to enter can email a photo and the address of their home or business to jmcdonald@hannibal-mo.gov.
