This weekend in America's Hometown is one for iconic cars, America's pastime, and big boats from a bygone era.

The Mark Twain Corvette Club has their All-Corvette Car Show on North Main Street in downtown Hannibal Saturday, August 2, with registration at 8 a.m. and judging starting at 10.

Saturday night is the next-to-last home game for the Hannibal Cavemen. The Cavemen play host to the Danville Dans at Clemens Field at 7:05 p.m.

Two of the largest steamboats that travel the Mississippi have stops in Hannibal scheduled in the coming days.

The Queen of the Mississippi docks in Hannibal Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. Then, the American Queen makes a stop Monday from 8 a.m. till noon. In both cases, passengers will disembark and enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality of the historic downtown area.
