Hannibal’s Bicentennial Parade on June 22nd will feature the world- famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Besides the parade, Michael Riesenbeck of Golden Eagle Distributing says the stately horses will visit the Hannibal Hoots baseball game Thursday evening, June 20. The Clydesdales will also appear at the Down by the River fundraiser at the Y Mens Pavillion on Friday night, June 21.

Riesenbeck says the last time the Clydesdales visited Hannibal was 2007.

While the public will have several opportunities to view the draft horses up close, Riesenbeck says folks should be mindful to keep an arms-length away from the “Gentle Giants” that weigh an average of 2,000 pounds. Three semis will transport the eight horses and wagon to America’s Hometown.
