The opportunity to try some of the best chili in the tri-states comes to the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center in Hannibal Saturday, February 20.

Golden Eagle Distributing Company partners with the Hannibal Jaycees for the 33rd annual Bud Light Chili Cook Off.

It's a chance for area restaurants, service clubs and individuals to the compete for braggin' rights along with $1750 in cash prizes. There will also be cash prizes for the competing teams' best costumes, based on the theme, "Days of Disco."

The cook-off is a fundraiser for the Great River Honor Flight.

Doors open at 11 a.m., with chili sampling starting at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, and you must be 21 or older to get in.

Along with the chili cook-off, there will be entertainment by theatrical circus performers Mango and Dango.
