They're coming. Oh, wait. The truth is they're already here. The notorious cicada brood hatch is now making its way northward in Missouri and there's nothing you can do to stop them.

This new video share today comes from O'Fallon, Missouri apparently according to the video description by The Ramblin Road on YouTube. He shows trees there absolutely covered in cicadas.

If you think the trees in O'Fallon have a lot to deal with involving this cicada brood, you should see the ground in that part of Missouri. They are everywhere.

The only thing more terrifying than looking at pictures of cicadas in O'Fallon, Missouri for those with bug fears is watching video of these critters.

The good news is the cicada invasion won't last long. The Smithsonian Institute promises that the adult cicadas will only live 3 to 4 weeks. Still, if you fear bugs, this will be the longest 4 weeks of your life and probably a Spring and summer you won't want to remember often.
