Camp Point Native Killed in St. Louis Crash

A native of Camp Point is one of two people killed in a two car crash Sunday morning in St. Louis.

St. Louis Police say 25-year-old Angela Schwagmeyer of St. Louis was driving the wrong way on Interstate 55 at Park Avenue at 4:09 a.m. Sunday when she collided with a car driven by a 50-year-old St. Louis man.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at a St. Louis hospital.

Funeral arrangements for Angela Schwagmeyer are being handled by the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
