Burn Ban Issued in Ralls and Marion Counties

A burn ban has been issued for Ralls and Marion Counties after numerous field and grass fires broke out in northeast Missouri Saturday.

Marion County Emergency Services Director Mike Hall says very dry conditions and low humidity levels combined with gusty winds have greatly increased the risk for wildfires.

The Outdoor Burn Ban  remains in effect until the situation improves.
