(BOWLING GREEN)—Missouri Fire Marshals investigators are looking for the cause of a three-alarm fire that destroyed four big rigs in Bowling Green.

Firefighters were called to Ed Gaw Trucking Incorporated along Business Highway 61 at the north edge of Bowling Green shortly before 10 o’clock Monday night.

Fire Chief Don Nacke says flames were coming through the roof of the metal building when crews arrived.

Four tractor-trailer trucks were destroyed. Nacke says the flames were so intense that aluminum on one of the cabs melted.

Volunteer firefighters from Bowling Green City, Bowling Green Rural, Buffalo Township and Louisiana were on the scene for six hours.
