The latest casualty of the COVID-19 outbreak is the 2020 season of Bluff City Theater.

Citing the level of uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, and with only six weeks until rehearsals were to have started, theater director Joe Anderson said the decision was made to cancel Bluff City Theater’s entire 2020 regular season.

Those who have already purchased subscriptions and flex passes for this season will automatically have them carried over to 2021, unless they want a refund.

Also, Bluff City Theater’s annual fund raising gala, scheduled for May 1st has been cancelled.

Earlier this week, the theater-sponsored Comedy on the River festival, scheduled for mid-April, was postponed until this fall.
