(QUINCY)—Adams County Board members approve a non binding resolution to move forward with a hog confinement project two miles southwest of Lima. Daron Duke and his partner want to build a facility for up to 49-hundred hogs.

The vote only means the board believes the owners meet site criteria required by Illinois state law. The decision on granting the permit rests with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
