MO Senators Talk Sales Tax

   JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Senators raised concerns in debate today that legislators wouldn't have much control over a proposed 1-cent sales tax for transportation projects. They're concerned the money would go straight to the Department of Transportation without legislative approval. It's estimated the tax would raise nearly $8 billion over 10 years.
