Drag Racing Ends in Rollover Accident
(Clayton, Ill)—Drag racing on the Clayton-Kellerville blacktop sends two people to the hospital after a rollover accident yesterday afternoon. Adams County Deputies say 19 year-old Zachary King of Clayton and 19 year-old Morgan Knorr of Raytown, Missouri were drag racing northbound on E. 2950th Street when they met a vehicle on a hill, causing the King vehicle to veer out of control and roll multiple times. King sustained moderate injuries after being ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to Blessing Hospital by Air Evac. A passenger in the King vehicle was treated at Blessing for minor injuries. Both King and Knorr face charges of Reckless Driving and Drag Racing.

One-Car Rollover in Adams County Injures Two
(Adams Co., Ill)—A rollover accident on Benz Road in Adams County sends two teens to the hospital early Saturday morning. Adams County Deputies responding to the scene just before 2 a.m. discovered a pickup driven by 20 year-old Zachary Davis of Payson had rolled over after Davis lost control on a curve and traveled down an embankment. Davis and two passengers, 19 year-old Alexander Schwartz of Quincy and 18 year-old Mercedes Clayton of Plainville had to be extricated from the wreckage. Schwartz sustained serious injuries while Clayton suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Davis refused treatment and was charged with Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Zero Tolerance.
