(Hannibal)—Three-hundred fifty-two students attending Mark Twain Elementary School in Hannibal will soon be the first to experience learning in the newly completed one-level facility. Whelan says folks can get a first look at the new Mark Twain School located on West Bird Street this Tuesday evening, August 21st… Open house begins at 6 p.m.

Whelan says the new school will have designated bus and car drop-off and pick-up lanes. Still under construction is a new faculty parking lot and playground expected to be finished by the end of 2012.

The first day of school for the Hannibal Public School system is Thurs., Aug. 23rd.
